Evidence & Governance
A transparent professional-identity layer in which executive claims are connected to governed source records and corrected when superseded.
AI-readable discovery with bounded authority
The v2.0-RC3-HF2 machine layer exposes identity, provenance, policies, release state, capability-evidence transport, and prepared EW/AIDC handshakes while keeping professional-claim authority with Louis D. Whitesides and technical implementation authority with EWTECHNERD.
Executive evidence register
The site separates source classes and makes verification status explicit. Release Candidate v2.0-RC3 · Hotfix 2 uses the October 2026 public executive CV as the narrative baseline while preserving separate evidence states for independently verified records and external media.
| Evidence class | Current state | Use in candidate |
|---|---|---|
| Public Executive CV · October 2026 | Governing baseline | Appointments, metrics, competencies, education, scholarship, and public-service narrative synchronized to the current executive record. |
| ORCID | Public profile | Researcher identity and publication cross-check. |
| SSRN working papers | Public manuscripts | Collaborative institutional trust/governance scholarship. |
| Argosy University DBA credential | Verified | Verified against the diploma and official transcript: Doctorate of Business Administration, Business Administration, awarded October 1, 2009; transcript concentration International Business; overall cumulative GPA 3.96. Public transcript evidence is privacy-protected. |
| Times and Democrat archive | Verified archive | 41 article records across 12 supplied archive PDFs, 2010–2025. |
| 2026 independent media | Public external evidence | Current academic-portfolio governance coverage from WLTX and Post and Courier, cross-checked against contemporaneous reporting. |
| HR personnel/appointment records | Pending intake | Reconcile payroll classification with official administrative/working titles. |
Title-governance rule
Where a state payroll or budget classification differs from an official university administrative appointment or working title, the site will preserve both concepts and cite the supporting appointment or personnel record. No inference from payroll classification alone will supersede documented administrative responsibility.
Correction & supersession
Claims will be updated when higher-quality primary evidence becomes available. Candidate-state labels will be removed only after the corresponding record has been reviewed and entered into the evidence register.
EWTECHNERD capability layer
This deployment demonstrates an evidence-based senior-executive digital profile: narrative, source classes, verification status, RSS publication, and a machine-readable capability manifest.
Carnegie R2 research status
Source: WLTX News 19 — independent news coverage and video regarding South Carolina State University’s Carnegie R2 status.
What it supports: External public validation that South Carolina State University holds Carnegie R2 status and operates as a high-research institution.
What it does not establish: The article does not, by itself, quantify Dr. Whitesides’s individual causal contribution to the classification. The CV therefore uses the narrower formulation that he helped advance institutional research capacity supporting R2 classification.
Academic portfolio governance and institutional transition
Current independent coverage documents South Carolina State University's board-approved elimination of nine academic programs and the institution's stated intent to redirect resources toward student needs, workforce alignment, and future program development. Contemporaneous reporting quotes a joint communication from President Alexander Conyers and Interim Provost Louis Whitesides describing the changes as part of strategic academic portfolio management.
Evidence-governance note: these sources document institutional action and public communication during Dr. Whitesides's tenure as Chief Academic Officer; they do not, by themselves, establish sole individual authorship or causal responsibility for the Board's decision.
